Would this be a bottleneck issue?

GPU=GTX550Ti

CPU=Core2Duo Dual Core e7300 @2.66Ghz|||That's probably not a bad match between CPU and GPU. Most games are now more GPU-limited than CPU limited so having a GPU that outpaces the CPU is more desirable than the reverse. That said, I wouldn't go any higher up the food chain in GPUs with that CPU.

My approach would be this: Get the GTX 550Ti now and see how it goes. If performance is still lacking for what you play, it's probably time to get an 1156 motherboard and a Intel SandyBridge 2500K. Get a motherboard that supports SLI, buy a second GTX 550Ti and use SLI. (Along with a power supply that's SLI-rated.) That way, you're out nothing for the attempt.|||The clock speed on it is too low to run something at any decent type of resolution, so yeah, it would be a bottleneck since that card is meant to run on something higher than 1280x1024, which is likely the max you will comfortably play at.

People underestimate how much a CPU can affect FPS. Graphics cards are typically more important, but if your CPU is on full load, there really isn't much difference from ultra settings to low.

For me and WoW, when I am in Stormwind and it is peak hours, Ultra settings is 20 FPS. Low is 30-35ish. That kind of thing.|||That's a good combination.

The GTX 550Ti is about the upper limit of what processors like that can keep pace with.
