Will my processor be an okay match with this graphics card?

will my current processor (AMD Athlon II X2 240) go okay with this graphics card?http://www.amazon.co.uk/Nvidia-GTX550Ti-192-Bit-Ready-Graphics/dp/B004S5CCP4/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1321974447&sr=1-1 thanks.|||Any modern graphics card or processor will work together fine. The GT550Ti is a decent midrange Nvidia card and although your cpu is fairly low spec as long as you have at least 4GB RAM it shouldn't hold the graphics card back too much from working to its full ability in most games. You will of course get faster frame rates with an Intel i5/i7 or a Phenom II cpu but your cpu will not hamper performance too much.

Most current games are not written to take advantage of more than the two cores your cpu has [although this is changing and many new games due out in the next year will be able to take full advantage of quad core cpus and above].

The GTX 550Ti is probably a good choice as if you got a top card like a Radeon HD 6950 or above or Nvidia GTX 570 or above then these cards are so powerful that your little Athlon II X2 240 would hold them back from performing at their best|||They will match fine, theyre both low to mid end products.
